Definition "Preview Dialing"
Dialing is used as an automatic dialing aid when actively addressing customers (outbound). The telephone numbers of customers are automatically dialed from the database. The software recognises fax machines, answering machines/mailboxes and busy signals, among other things. If the line is free and the called party answers, the connection is made to the next free employee. However, different variants are used: in preview mode, i.e. preview dialing, the employee initiates the next call themself (i.e. in contrast to the use of the predictive dialer) and dials the new number as soon as they have finished a customer call. Preview dialing thus enables the employee to initiate the call themself, to see and know the respective data record in advance (hence preview dialing) and thus to immediately serve the called person correctly and according to the contact history.
