The Cologne-based telephone provider outbox AG and the nationwide operating VIER GmbH had already been working together in the area of value-added services for several years. This was deepened at the beginning of the year: In the course of expanding its voice volume, VIER has also been using outbox's highly available, redundantly designed carrier grade voice platform since the turn of the year. It can scale up to tens of thousands of simultaneous calls at any time. Several hundred of VIER's 0800 and 0180 value-added service numbers were successfully ported.
As part of the cooperation, outbox AG now conversely offers its customers the services of the VIER omnichannel contact centre solution "engage" and the integrated AI products. In doing so, outbox supports all VIER voice services, from the classic SIP carrier grade trunk to the integration of Microsoft Teams via the Voice as a Service product.
