With geographic service numbers you can be reached under your local area code, but use all the advantages of a service number, i.e. IN routing, call distribution and statistical analysis. VIER offers such geographical service numbers nationally and internationally. International service numbers use the area codes of the respective country. Callers pay the respective domestic tariff. Callers from abroad dial the respective local number and are routed to Germany.
0800 numbers are free of charge for callers from German landline and mobile networks - you bear the costs! You communicate a uniform number across all locations, use online statistics, distribute calls efficiently and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. 0800 numbers are ideal for field service, order taking or new customer acquisition. To protect yourself from expensive joke calls, VIER provides you with Junk Call Protection. In the case of international toll-free, country-specific prefixes, callers dial this prefix and are routed to your customer service in Germany.
With the shared-cost service numbers from 01801 to 01805 you can use location-independent hotline prefixes and also reduce the connection costs: the caller pays part of the cost. Shared cost numbers are therefore well suited for information hotlines. In addition to the 01801, 01802, 01803, 01804 and 01805 alleys, VIER also offers the 01806 and 01807 service numbers, which make it particularly easy to implement the legal requirements for free waiting loops on chargeable hotlines.
With a hotline under 01806 you fulfil the legal requirements for free waiting loops for chargeable hotlines. At the same time, you benefit from the advantages of a 0180 service number: 01806 is billed per call, i.e. at a block rate, both in the fixed network and in mobile services. The fixed price means that callers do not incur any further costs for any waiting times.
With a number in the 01807 range, you can easily implement the legal requirements for free waiting loops on chargeable hotlines: With 01807, the first 30 seconds of the connection are free of charge, after which you are charged by the minute. The free 30 seconds are available, for example, as a free waiting time before the call begins, but also for downstream waiting fields, provided they were not initially used up. If the 30 seconds of waiting time are used up at the beginning of the call without the call being accepted, the call is terminated.
The so-called MABEZ services - mass traffic to specific destinations - under the prefix 0137 are used for a very large number of very short connections to a destination, for example for voting. They are ideally suited for voting on television and radio. All calls to these numbers are answered immediately via an announcement ("Your call has been counted, please hang up"), so waiting times do not occur at all.
0900 service numbers are intended for high-quality telephone services with added value, i.e. a value beyond the mere connection service. These include, for example, telephone weather information, traffic reports, stock exchange data, offers for life counselling, helpdesk offers. VIER provides 0900-1 numbers. They can be flexibly tariffed, e.g. to charge differently for different services or call segments during a connection. With 09001 service numbers, a waiting loop from the German fixed network can remain free of charge.
Complement your service with VIER's IVR (Interactive Voice Response) for caller pre-qualification. This prevents call forwarding and speeds up processing. With IVR, you communicate e.g. only one call number, but route enquiries to different areas/groups before the call begins, depending on the call reason. In this way, you can prioritise certain concerns or callers or assign them to service providers. In addition, you can query customer features (contract number, customer number, transaction number, etc.) via IVR before the call. The local CRM software then automatically calls up the correct data record.
The online monitor provides current information about active calls as well as important key figures of the groups and service numbers. Important information such as service level or availability is reinforced by warning lights. Standard statistics for billing purposes are available online.
